You HOT???

Postby russau » Thu Jul 21, 2016 3:11 pm

Well its so hot/ humid here in Misery that...............it kinda looks foggy out to a degree! I get out and do what I HAVE todo early and come in for the rest of the day! Today it has a 110/111 heat index. Its been heavy rains and high heat all Spring / Summer so far! Im soaking wet by 8:30-9:00 AM and come in for a shower! Whats it like in your neck of the woods? Ive had offers to go to several locations BUT ITS TO DARN HOT!

I never thought 100 degrees was cool. But it sure does beat 107. Think I'm gonna park a lawn chair under the sprinkler. No, wait. It'll water down my cold beer!!

Glen for a ole inventor as yourself Im surprised you don't invent some sort of containment system to keep the water out while enjoying the coolness of the sprinkler at the same time! :D

My great ol'buddy George Difenbacker,RIP, on the Klamath had a capped squeeze plastic bottle he used to chug beer out of underwater. The deeper you went though and that thang could go ape due to increased pressure. God I miss his humor. 107 in the early am :o and I'm pod at 70 this am but It'll ramp up starting tonight, no cool off sucks as I like open windows and critters churping away....Stay cool ya'all as amazing "heat dome" covers the country...must be heat from all the political bs being thrown, folks tempers and frustrations abound causes anger and it raises the temperature???-John :?

Carbonated beverages are a "no-no" at depth. Nearly flat at 30 feet down. But the gas comes out of them swiftly as you surface. Hurts like hell!
