Well it seems every year I say just one more year, but that Gold Fever draws me back one more time.
The spot I had my surgery on my Back makes it a little harder each year & I said last year would be my last.
Had to buy a new dredge motor at the start of last season and at the end of the season spotted a area that
may be a good gold produce, & the river now peaking the highest since 1948 has to have moved a lot of gold.
But as I approach 79 years old it isn't getting any easier. Will be spending a good part of summer looking for
hard rock vein that will require a lot of hiking so maybe in August will be in shape for dredging.
Got the local Chamber to buy some more Gold this week so a couple of us can teach the kids how to pan
for gold for 2 more years during local prospecting days in June. Well also work with adults on how to pan
but will be saving the gold for the kids. For $5 they will get .02 grams of gold worth a little over $9, what a
deal.
