Normally I would be talking about the drinking kind but I quit that so I have to settle for this.

We saw the biggest turkey flock we had ever seen. These are Merriam Wild Turkeys

We also have lots of turkeys where I live. All the hills are covered in oak and the acorns make wonderful feed for them. It is quite steep country here so they spend a lot of time up high on the hills. But they do come down to water in the river in the evenings. We also see them in any farm or ranch fields searching for insects.
