At least we don't have any fires near us. It's been the high 90's though. It.s miserable with no AC The truck is in the shop. We hope to get it back today.

Leonard , you'd think Ford would want to buy your little Ranger P/U back considering all the miles /location's it has helped you to over the many years ! The last I heard you had over 360 K on it and that was maybe 10 years back !

This morning both of Jim's fires seem to be loosing ground. McKinney (the larger fire @ 60k acres seems to be about 60% contained and the Yeti / Alex one at 8K acres about 80%. Still not out but getting better.

I assume that the CAL Fire folks have been in ongoing conversations with Jim to seek guidance on exactly how they should proceed. :?

Stil hot in Denver. At least it got out of the 100's. It's been running in the low 90's. Not good outdoor working weather. Now I know what the wife was going through while I was dredging on the Arkansas every year.
