It sounds like you guys had a hoot on the flats. Looking forward to Leonard's pictures. Geno, I enjoyed watching your slide show!

For those of you who remember my youngest son, Jordan aka "Crash", here's what he looks like now. This was taken the evening of his graduation from basic training on July 7th. We now have a bonafide Cavalry Scout in the family. He's heading to Iraq in Oct and will be gone anywhere from 12 to 18 months. Prayers are requested on his behalf.

Also had a chance to tour the Maker's Mark distillary and brought back a bottle of their newest and latest: Maker's 46. 47% by volume and is smooth ALL the way down. I'll share it with whoever is on the flats the first week of August. I plan to arrive either the 3rd or 4th and plan to stay as long as my health and money holds out. I even have a couple of cigars infused with Maker's Mark bourbon that I'm bringin along just for S's and G's.

BTW Leaonrd, I wanted to run up the road a little further and visit the Wild Turkey distillary just so I could bring you something back that you couldn't buy in the store, but I ran out of time before I ran out of distillaries. My heart and wallet was in the right place though. Can't say I wasn't thinking of you.

GolodSeeker! I stand and salute your son. My son also was a Cavalry scout with the 3rd ACR based at camp Marez,Mosul Iraq. Let us know your sons address when he gets to Iraq and I'll be sure to send him a package and encourage my friends to do so as well. Give him my kind regards and add that I thank him for his service.

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
