Thieves hit S.Oregon Josephine County

Postby Hoser John » Tue Oct 04, 2011 7:08 am

as of 9/26 they stole a 3" proline with blue pontoons-mile marker hydro winch #19608916--also honda winch gcaft 2230186--also 6.5 briggs marked with jewelers marker initials of owner KMC. Not mine--don't know owner BUT I'll throw in a $100 reward for info leading to the arrest/conviction/return of any of this equipment. Thieves will hit a huge load on their way outta town and dump elsewhere so please keep a eye open as you may be next!! Josephine county sheriff #541-474-5123---John

with meth heads, drugies, enviros, and a few wareing badges trying to get miners out of the woods. any thing laying around will get carted off.

mite be time to use gps units to catch a few. when every one learns that the equpment in the woods may mean you could end up in jail. it will not be worth it.
save a tree, eat a squirrel.

i envy the guys that have claims and can leave their equipment there all summer or over the winter. for me, i camp within eyesight of my equipment or i sometimes pull it out with me if i have to travel far to camp.

How's about we send a few of them afloat!!!! We were at an outing this 4th of july that had a "greenie" kyaker start yelling about us damn miners tearing up the earth. So's I started chucking chunks of ol' mother at him(rocks) and said"I have 2 1/2 miles of area to go and he best get to paddlin' cause I'm gonna follow him all the way pitching rocks. I was pretty good as a kid, and still ok. Was bouncing alot off the boat, and telling him I was getting my range dialed. About the time he got away I thought"Hell, those idiots are always tipping over and banging their heads on rocks, I coulda just beaned him with one and noone would know the diff" !!!!!
