years back when one of our daughters was in a parade. i fixed up a float for her and when she got to the assembly location for the parade. a representative for the "special needs children"approached her and asked if they could also ride on the float. ofcourse she said yes. ive never seen youg people smile so big while on that float during the parade! made a person feel real good!

The MC I rode with did alot of work with these kids. We were asked to ride it the 4th of July parade and each of us were allowed to carry one of the kids with us. I've never heard so many laughes and screams of fun in my life! I got really close to the young man I had carried that day. I was so proud of him when I was asked to go to his graduation.
