Gun control

Postby golden optimist » Tue Feb 18, 2014 9:31 am

I knew there was much discussion lately about the new Gun Control laws BUT I really had not paid that much attention to it.

Recently I went shopping at Dick's Sporting Goods in Longmont, Colorado after seeing ads for a big sale. When I was ready to pay for my purchase of a new rifle and ammo, I went to the cashier and as I was getting my credit card out of my wallet, the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."

WELL, I never.........I was humilitated....Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun control whackos
running amok, I did just as she had instructed.

As I stood there with my pants around my ankles, the cashier looked me up and down, smirking!, and she sternly said, "The credit card goes in the machine with the MAGNETIC STRIP DOWN AND FACING ME!"

Oops!!!

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
This seems to be happening to me quite often now and I don't understand why......especially with all this high tech stuff changing every day it seems.

They really need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

We've warned up considerably. Most of the snow is gone around the house.
