Windfarms only giving half power

looks like were going to be hearing about green power problems more as time goes on. its funny that the greens say you need more than one sorce of renewables to make power or it will not work. i am all for wind power to charge batterys and such for power after storms or in a remote cabin. to power hole towns that is just nuts.


SCOTLAND'S wind farms have produced only around half the amount of power they were expected to this year, Scotland on Sunday has learned.
The government blamed the low generation levels on unusually calm weather, but critics said the figures showed the danger of becoming too dependent on renewable energy.

with all the socalled "representaives " we have going around huffing and puffing about a bunch of beans, im suprised these windfarms arent spinning allmost out of controll!

i am shocked more towns are not capturing metane from there sewage systems. a good way for them to make cash and a few jobs. plus when gas prices go sky high they can use it to run the some of there equpment.

Driving to/from DC I got to se some MASSIVE windfarms and was amazed more(maybe 50%) weren't spinning as the wind was absolutely horrible???John
