I'm on my way home. I checked the weather and there is a snow strom heading to Denver and Colorado thursday.

Right now I'm sitting in a Motel 6 in Santa Fe, Nm. I should be home tomorrow evening. I have a cold one sitting here and a pizza on it's way to my room. The 6 week oddessy is almost over. At least until next year. I

've seen so many neat things that most people just blast by because they don't have the time to just sit around. I am lucky that in my retirement, I have enough extra money that I can spend it doing next to nothing. My 9 day stay at the RV park ended up costing me $40.00. He would have taken less if I didn't have it. As he told one of the guys in the park when he was short a little money for a pop, "thats fine. Some days this is a business and some days it's a hobby. Today it's a hobby".

These United States are a really neat place.

Hi GO:

"These United States are a really neat place."

I couldn't agree more with that statement and I'll add this. There are a lot more nice people in America that we realize. All you got to do to find out is walk up and say Hello.

Glad you had a nice trip. :D

Russ:

We have all met people like that, but far fewer, that the nice folk that would give the shirt off their back to help someone in need.

GO:

Hope you catch a lot of fish while your down there.
As an aside, Wish Cathy the best if your get a chance to see her. I hope things are getting better for her.

The optimist is back at home! It was a great 6 weeks but it's nice to be back. I'll be ready for a new trip after the first of the new year. I'll be posting more pictures and stories over the next few weeks.
