Thanks Rex for the how-2 on windows 8 . ive got 2 CPUs that aren't working. one has a virus and wont let me into it and the other lost its power supply. I think im going to pull both power supplies and swap them out to get another system up-n-running and have one for JUST of-line storeage of files that are safe from virus.

well im getting a handel on this piece of .........................(censored myself) and im getting around on this but I still cant print and its awkward for me to navigate around to different sites. my wife wants to get the old CPU fixed and go back to using it. my little brain is scrambled so it don't matter to me , im stiil up the creek !

Just got a notice from GOOGLE that now they are doing a new upgrade that will kill off all sites using NPAPI plugins to operate. Google has kept my ol'XP running at a fairly decent speed but now it'll be slower than Joe Dirt and that's EVEN if it'll work at all. SOB-they get ya addicted and both Microsoft and GOOGLE pulling more (*&^%$ than a politician-John

When Google Chrome version 46 comes out in September 2015 you will not be able to re-enable the NPAPI plugins, unless someone comes out with a "patch" to do so, like maybe these guys that LipCa posted, hopefully this will work out for the best because as we know time moves on and hopefully so shall technology!!

Below is a list of browsers that at this time supports NPAPI plugins, you will see Google Chrome listed here because you can still re-enable the plugins, but it will not be so after September.
