Fire in Redding CA

There is a large fire burning parts of the town and lands adjacent to the west (30,000 acres now) Hoser lives in or near Redding....... hope he is ok

I believe that John lives in a very populated part of town just off of Hilltop.

Watching the news tonight, as close as I can figure, John should not be directly effected, maybe evact for precautions. mayhem ensued
Secondary effects yes, smoke, no power, gas, water.
Really strange weather, 50 - 60 mph winds creating real havoc

Donald Trump just declared a State of Emergency for the state of California. John I know/assume you cant get to the computer BUT we all hope your doing O.K. and I am praying for you to get through this unscathed!

Knowing where I think John's home is, his should not be in danger of fire.
Checking the incident maps today, the fire is moving west south west of town.
My guess is he evac out just in case, maybe a mandatory thing.
Holding out for the best
