Hunker'd down

Well I'm all hunker'd down for the ice that's headed my way !! No need to go out until it's all gone which should be Sunday or Monday !

Russ - we were really done with it so we sent it to you.
The ice is formidable here right now in Northern Idaho - wet and then freezing produces some world class sheet ice under the snow.

Well so much for the forecasted snow and ice ! Joe it musta run out of steam before it got here !

Leonard probably used the last of it to fight those fires.
15 degrees this morning which is making that ice REALLY hard and crunchy.
Of course - "All Things Pass." and so I guess I'll just have to wait a bit.
I was out shoveling snow yester-evening when a 12" thick roof cornice came a-hellin' down on me. No damage to this old shoveler but "The Words From My Mouth to God's Ear" were uttered and God (Infinite Knowledge, remember) replied, suggesting that I quit that shoveling stuff and go get some coffee. The coffee was good and I even swirled the grounds in the cup, just in case, looking for Gold you know.
