incase you saw and didnt get the name of the carpet John had,i went to COSTCO to see if they had it instock. if im not mistaken, it is called "clean and green" indoor/outdoor carpet. and the one i saw was a area rug 6 ft. x 9 ft. made by OZITE and Foss manufactoring. the COSTCO # is 236730 www.ozite.com and www.fossmfg.com will show it on their site.look for the indoor/outdoor carpet section. i think this is the one John showed me in Wyoming.
Still working on the package to ya Russ-I'll include a chunk a the real thing. My bud Doelker got into the attic yesterday(110 in the shade) and a zillion up there and no tag on the roll of carpet!! As soon as I can walk worth a damn I'll seek and find a bit more info and where to find it too-sorry guys but 2nd GEEK gave up yesterday--said to buy a seperate storage unit at 1TB,download and dump the computer and reboot everything-damn shame!! There are pics on a long thread on the old forum but can't find it-CalDJohn and I had a long post and was there but now???bummer-John
John the email you sent was the same carpet i saw at COSTCOs. and thankyou! to veiw this carpet goto www.ozite.com then retail products then indoor/outdoor area rug the carpet i saw was the lower part of the screen "N32H granit". the under side of the carpet is just the oppisite of the top and it has these small indentations underneath to help trap the fine gold.
Johns reply over on the GPAA site said that it is close but not what he has. his is a different thickness, different makeup of material. but the picture he sent me looks like this pattern but i saw the wrong carpet. the patteren i saw on the OZITE site was the N32H Granit . this looks just like Johns carpet eventhough it isnt the correct stuff.so i dont have any COSTCO # to refer to! sorry!
the post i made that had the website (www.ozite.com) has a picture of a"looks like" carpet. but Johns is thicker and made of a different material. it looks just like the material that is on their website. besides, i screw up everytime i try to post a picture!
If that carpet is available in the market then it is good. The Hobnail pattern is the best for its design. The hosers carpet gives a nice look for the floor.
