if any of you know people that need some food or clothes stop by the Church of GOD at Newmark and Brussels in coos bay on thursdays 9:30 to 11:30 for the morning food bank and again at 12 noon till its gone usually about 7pm. At our drive through produce handout, we hand out 20 to 40,000 pounds of veggies, fruit and bread products every thursday.
we are all volunteers and not one carrot stick is is from the goobermint and nor are we affliated with Oregon food bank. there are no income requirements and all are welcome

My wife started this about 5 years ago and is a 501c3 corp so all donations are tax deductible

me i just get voluntold

SALUTE to you Larry and your wifes efforts to help those in need! sometimes we all are in need in one way or another! sometimes all we need is a little help from our friends to make it over the hump!

Church's seem to work better than the government. I know a guy, that i worked with. he loves to hunt. he makes a ton of cash. he will only hunt if he finds a family in need. he uses all the churches in his town to find some one in need. when the church delvers the deer its all ready processed and ready to eat.

if you ask around at most church's any thing can happen. simple things from help with home work. to complex things like finding jobs and rebuilding after a fire.
save a tree, eat a squirrel.
