WTB headerbox for an 18" wide sluice, with 4" inlet. My mining partner [prospecta] and I are putting together a gravity dredge for some 'way-back-woods' places.
Already have 80' of 4" suction hose + 20' off my Dahlke on hand, working on the back to back 18" x 48" sluices now.
[4" deep]

buy some ABS plastic and make it yourself! mlight in weight/priced at 1/2 of alum. EZ to form and use the ABS adhesive that NEVER lets go!ive made three of them for my dredges and they are holding up to my abuse!if you form the edges by bending the ABS cold, do it very slowly or itll crack.then apply a small amount of ABS adhesive to that edge for some extra strength(the glue will dissappear when dry) or heat the edges and bend it had hold them inplace untill it cools a little, then itll retain its shape.a sheet of 1/8 ABS is about $62. comparied to a sheet of alum at twice that!
