Hi John!
A 2X2 pump probably would be too big. Intend to match with a 10" wide sluice. Have 3? Hp. Honda knockoff motor. Goal is to be backpackable.
Thanks for thinking of me,
Plumas

I have a Pacific Hydrostar 98013 trash pump from Harbor Freight,2 x 1/1/2",3 hp honda clone, thats only been run the required 2 hour breakin and 1 1/2 hours of use. They cost $249 new, $150 to any GDR forum member. On their website around 26 lbs??
. Doing me no good just sittn' as have 5 keene pumps. Back won't allow hauling pumps around backpakn' which I bought it for, same as your purposes-John

Thanks for the offer John
The knockoff Honda motor I have came with a Chicom trash pump and I had hopes. Moves decent water but lacks pressure. (Says 25 meters of head on it's riveted tag, can only guess what it does at a elevation around 5,000 feet.) Anyway, not enough pressure to make things go anywhere close to right - a serious lack of suck. This backpack mercury recovery device is a 2 1/2". Think I'm going to need a real deal dredge pump.
Thanks again Hoser!

the small 4 stroke with a P100 seems so right for your needs!

I have a p-90 off a late '80's 2" backpack dredge. It comes attacked to a 2 cycle tanaka? I think' engine' recoil starter spring broke can't find parts.
$100.00 its yours in Brookings or Grants Pass.
