Volts are burning up like crazy and tooooo expensive for a heat source, piece a junk. Only folks who got electric cars right is Tesla Motors, fast charge system, longest run at over 230 miles and NOT 60-90 miles like the rest a the junk out there. Takeoff like a rocketship is my fancy as got to drive a used one for sale in Sacramento about 6 months ago and definately matched/beat the good ol'cobra in 0-60 range.Next big paystreak I find ---I'm definately gettn' one myself. Soooooo quiet and no shifting--just PURE POWER to the ground--sweet-tons a au 2 u 2 -John 8-)

I have been reading the battery's have been getting only 5 years be for the mileage is cut in haft. the battery tech is so bad the government is offering a few prizes for million or two for new tech. the down side is some company's have done 5 million in research. you would be shocked to lean of the companys that are doing battery research, like the solar comany BP, shell solar. or are they oil companys. the first one to make the better battery stands to make billions.

LUV PRIUS,took the new V model out and MUCH bigger than regular unit. I know of no one personally who has had a single problem with them or even the battery system. Waitn' for a truck model then I'll buy one-VOLT production completely stopped for now as can't give away flaming torches with a lousy 60 mile radius, down a hill and off a cliff-what a hoot-John
