Postby geno » Tue Mar 02, 2010 11:15 am

I have Just returned from the Dr. for follow-up results on my CT scan from last week. I will have to start chemo again. They found continued growth of older tumours and a couple of new growths.... Also, the cancer has now spread to my lungs as well... with 6 small tumours showing up (all this was expected just didn't know when). Due to the new growths, they have upped the chemo dosage and will now be taken in pill form. The good news is, I get to stay home and get sick instead of going to the clinic and getting sick.

HOWEVER, My wife and I are still going to be working the seasonings and cookbook thing. It looks as if I can begin shipping them out in about a month. If you want to pre-order, ............. They are $22.65 ... Shipping is INCLUDED if you send payment by PayPal or snail mail. If you order thru the website, it will automatically add about $10 shipping, so... DO NOT ORDER THRU THE WEBSITE! Use PayPal (preferred way) or Snail Mail only.

my email for paypal is gene.wiley@live.com be sure to add a note about how many books you want and whether or not you want it autographed.
For Check or Money Order:

My new chemo treatment starts Saturday. I beg your prayers and support to help me through the next few weeks... as I will be praying for all on this forum who have situations that can only be adressed by Our Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that lives in each of us.

Remember! friends may come and go, but Good Friends are with you always loving and supporting you. I was reminded of this yesterday when I spoke with my spiritual advisor and I felt compelled to repeat that message for all on this forum. l Please pass along this message to all your friends.

Geno, Have you ever tried sipping on a flat beer when you get nauseated? I had a couple of former clients who told me they would open a beer and put it back in the fridge. It would go flat, but stay cold. They said sipping on that cold, flat beer actually settled their stomach. Don't know if it works for everybody, but thought I'd pass it along in case you wanted to try it. Couldn't hurt I suppose.

I'll be praying for positive results and an easy ride through the process. Keep the faith bro.

Hey Russ, Skipper, Hoser and Leonard, your books are signed and sealed. I'm just waiting for USPS to pick them up this afternoon. The only thing I'm missing is Leonards mailing adress in order to add his to the mailmans load.
