Gold Hog Matting

Postby stretch » Sat Dec 01, 2012 10:22 pm

Im thinking of building a small 2" or 2.5" HighBanker, my question is how good is Gold Hog rubber matting?
I've read a couple of postings and they said it was the best matting they had ever used. Its a little spendy
but if it gets the gold the way they say it does it will pay for it self in a short time. The name of this matting
is Razorback,It catches fine gold.As there seems to be more fine gold here and about it makes sense to use
the right kind of matting.

one way to find out is to buy some and do your own test with a controlled amount of fine gold and a good scale! and save all the tailings to check them aswell! but the test will be only as good as the person doing it! feed to fast/to much tilt/to much water or turbulant water/unscreened material, all of these factors will bias your test.
