Morning, I still have a beautiful watermelon tourmaline specimen in matrix from a Pala dig. Back back back in the late 80s it was great. Last I saw you could still buy buckets of material BUT another rumor(GPAA magazine article)--lotza them lately-said the casino crowd bought and went to LL?? Biggest,oldest and best gems I've ever seen for quality,tri-banded, clear gems. My ozr I wear nugget has a Rubalett from there also set in it, single color of a righteous ruby but beautiful. I have a decent local film called The Yuba Experience by Sierra Productions.
Real Local... it is OK preety good underwater video of 8" on the North Yuba. - John
