Rodger the only trouble with a big trailer (i have a 18x7 enclosed myself) is that now you can carry all of your equipment out with you. and i mean all of it! i originally thought there would never be over 1000 lbs in my trailer,BOY was i mistaken! but i got it if i need it! and i hate driveing for maybe 16 hours and find out i forgot something!

Ok....not many bites on this one.
Here's the story.
An old friend of mine and I were talking the other day. I showed him some pictures of my dredge and other equipment. He didn't say anything at all about having found any gold. But the next day, he walks into my office and drops those two nuggets into my hand.
He said that he was bear hunting in Alaska last summer and just picked them up off the ground. So I started prospecting, then and there. I quickly opened google earth and had him show me where he got them.
He even showed me pictures, in the background you can see a washed out bank with ancient river gravels about fifteen feet above the ground. Now I just have to keep researching and planning. I want "boots on the ground" in June. Planning an exploratory trip with just some hand tools and a metal detector.
On my scales, the rough one weighed 38.800g and the worn one weighed 40.015g.

Wish me luck.
