pas prices

Postby h20prospector » Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:03 pm

Can someone explain, other than the oil companies are screwing us, why on 27 January the price for regular gas was $2.629, and today 4 Feb the price is $3.199? That's $.57, or almost a 22% increase in less than 10 days. It took several months to get down as low as it did.

Russ, don't tell me it's because I live in Colorado and you live in "The Show Me" state.

Pat thats because you live in Colorado and i live in misery:):)!! all these gas price fluctuations are purely price gouging in my estimates, and our socalled "representatives" allow it! and you can goto Venezuela and buy it for .17 cents a gallon!:(:(

Gas prices going down before the election was all smoke and mirrors.

Now that the election's over, there's no reason for it to stay low.

your best bet is to get a old diesel pick up and make your own fuel. if you get a small diesel gen set too you can have less trash to pack out of the camp site. if you get a rv you can stop for the night and make a gallon or two of fuel. so you would be running your gen set on it for free almost. http://ourworld.unu.edu/en/plastic-to-oil-fantastic/
