This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.
On 23 April 2013, the State Water Board is tentatively scheduled to hear an update on several mercury projects including progress on implementation of San Francisco Bay and Central Valley Water Board mercury TMDL projects, and development of statewide fish tissue objectives and a statewide mercury control program for reservoirs. This is only an information item and no action will be taken by the State Water Board at this meeting.

agreed! just another layer of stuff to fight! they are really pouring it on in the western states and headed this way! to many people saying someone should have done this or that when we all should have been doing just that over the years! now look what we got!

hit them ware it hurts. use facts. how many bulbs in a average home. how much mercury, how to get rid of the bulbs. then ask them if that is more than all the miners use all year. then show them the turn in for a dredge party.

Did that already in my last 169 page EIR comment to CDFG. More mercury now in kalif as mandated than utilized by the miners of old,but now everywhere encased in glass for ease of instant contamination--no YAAAAAAAA today-John
