El Dorado N.F.

Postby Ornery Cuss » Tue Apr 16, 2013 3:58 pm

Talking recently with one of our own game wardens, he stated El Dorado National Forrest has a big problem with Mexican Mafia types growing in the forrest.

For those of you that live in that area, do you hear or know of growers in that area.

I know that some here have claims in the Pipi valley, and wonder if you have ever encountered any issues of this sort

The wife and I and a couple of partners camped at the GPAA "Lost dredge" page 149, late last summer, and encountered a large group of campers with children some distance away from us, they did not approach us or have any contact with us.

What we found interesting, traffic in and out at ALL times of day and night. Gun fire at 6:15am saturday, off and on the entire day.
We did make them aware that we to had fire power.

Not sure I/we will camp that area again, and I'm certainlly not looking for troubles. Just wana mine, and mine my own bidness.

Just kinda wondering what if anything you locals hear.

I have some claims in that area.
But never any trouble, haven't seen any mexicans out there. Only weird situation I have ever had, was with one of the members from this site, first got belligerent with his posts on the site, then came out to my claim, thought that I didn't recognize the clown. But I did, a word for the wise if you try to sneak up on somebody don't be stupid enough and post pictures of yourself on the website.
Don't worry about it much, got a gun, got a pit-mix that watches out for me. Got enough military training to take care of myself and my dog.

HUGE problem on Hayfork creek, and Potsi-now Pot mountain area, they are so damn bold they changed the street sign. Cartels seem to like the shasta trinity forest. You can smell'm a mile away as they butcher evry deer and critter that moves to eat and huge body dumps. Needless to say I stay armed to the teeth but last old mining buddy folded this year and can't walk so alone I go,done it lots ,but do NOT like it as a steady diet. Be careful out there-John 8-)

and if its so obvious, why hasnt the police/DEA/military went up there and cleaned them out? if dredgeing is so "bad" what do they call what theyre doing? time to throw heat back on those that harrass us for dredgeing/mining! put them into the spotlight for NOT doing their job!

Oh now we can't do that to those poor "undocumented emigrants" they aren't the bad guys. It's those evil  gringos that are causing all the problems.
Why do you all want to be so mean to those "poor undocumented emigrants"
Lets givem money and free education and medical care (all the stuff that citizens aren't getting) then make em citizens as a reward for breaking the law.

Citizens go to jail for breaking the law, "undocumented emigrants" (law breakers) get rewarded.
this effen country is all screwed up.

djr thats what the cops told me once. then the ones they said were good emigrants were caught with a pound of meth, and a bunch of coke. the fun part was, it was not our local cops that caught them. they were speeding from picking up there drugs to distribute in our town. i don't know about you, but when you see 3 guys carrying a trash can down the street then chaining it to a light pole there is something up. they even put it on some ones front porch when they thought no one was home. they were using the can to cook meth. to top it off, i had a bunch of cars pulling up to the house and honking. i looked at the film. the guy up the street was sitting on my porch dealing drugs, when i was at work.

The intreseting part is the Amador Co. sheriff (multipul) will sit at the Consumnes campground bridge (one lane) and watch people go by, seen if a few times.

I guess being an ole bearded white dude, they arent intrested in me, they just look at me and watch me go by. 8-)

DJR, I hope you are well protected. Them folks were very unsettling. Not sure how much time you spend there, you might consider not staying late into the season.
You had already left when this went down.

These guys were camped on the right just as you come off the paved road on the other side of the creek.

Was there a week and half ago, what appeared to be the same group came in shortly after I arrived, the shooting started shortly there after.

Stay on your toes guys.
