Got my cookbook!

Postby golden optimist » Wed Mar 24, 2010 3:21 pm

I received my Geno cookbook today. What a neat work! It was fun thumbing through the pages and seeing familiar faces.

I have to say here that I made Geno's blog entry where I mentioned Wild Turkey Lane today before I saw the book. For those that don't know the story, I've been known to partake of a little??? Wild Turkey liquid refreshment from time to time. When I was back visiting Florida, Geno and I went to the Cape to watch a shuttle launch. On the way over I noticed a street sign, Wild Turkey Lane. We stopped on the way back and took a picture of me under the sign.

Anyway, Geno, congratulations! It's a great addition to my camping supplies.

I'm glad y'all got them OK and hope you find some of the recipes to your liking. Ed, I've started collecting recipes for the Dutch, so if you want to send me yours, I'd appreciate it.

Today I sent out 3 more books to:
Corky, Dave Beals and Jeff Campbell. Let me know when you recive them OK?

I would also like to solicit your testimonials for inclusion on my webpage... you can mention the spices as well... if you've tried them.

God Bless,
geno

Geno, my cookbook arrived yesterday and was I suprised. Now I can put faces to names and places. The free chili spice pack went immediately into the pan using your recipe. Mm, Mm, Mm, gooood. Un fortunately, I cooked the salmon last week that I was going to use the fish seasoning on. Oh well, there'll be another fish come along soon. We especially like the "Useful Information" section. Great Job, wish you good fortune,

I received my cookbook Friday and generated a new shopping list for the shopping trip Saturday. If anyone is interested in purchasing a new cookbook. This cookbook needs to be added to your list. You will not be disappointed.
