New gold show

I just watched a new gold show.

Tonight was episode 1 on Animal Planet.
I don't say it's great but as far as I'm concerened it's a lot better than the Hoffman's. The drama seems to stay fairly low key.

I was channel surfing and blundered into it....watched about 20 minutes then got distracted. The show seemed kinda ridiculous....like paris hilton and and the kardashians might partner with them in later episodes...silly
Five very urban women with zero mining experience in Nome with the intentions of mining an inherited placer operation that has been inactive for 30 years. Just about every scene seemed contrived. (here is an axe, hit something with it. Here are some gold pans, swish some rocks around in them...ok, action!)
I dont know if I can watch this...

i had the DVR to record this show and some others, and ill watch it maybe today when i get a break from honeydos!

I like to watch the blonde with the cowboy hat! She doesn't have to be a good miner.

I think Gold Run Creek is located somewhat near where Dave and I were supposed to go when we ended up staying in Nome. I'm sure that when they got the 2 nuggets from the dredge it was merely a coincidence that they were worth $1,100 dollars and the daily fee for the miners was $1,000 + 10%, (another $100.00). I could taste a little saly there.

yep i liked her also when she jumped out of the truck and headed out to check the waters depth! plus i liked her sister that sat next to her in the truck and said "i need a drink" when they started crossing the creek! nothing like a little drama with women and not knowing what todo first!
