Assistant Captain!

Postby golden optimist » Sat Nov 02, 2013 1:55 pm

This was a rare opportunity for me.
Captain Matt allowed a totally navitationally impaired beginner at the wheel of his boat. It was miles of open ocean between it and any land so it probably wasn't too much of a risk. He has his big opportunity to get even later in the day when I donned my swimming suit and jumped off the deck to swim in the gulf. He could have started up and left me there!

We survived all of this and managed to catch a bunch of fish which Connie filleted while we headed home and we ate them later that evening.
