New Toy!

Postby golden optimist » Sun Nov 17, 2013 11:01 am

A couple of weeks ago I bought a new toy! A internet radio! I know, I could have done the same thing on my computer but then it sits there and the fan runs all night. This is clock radio size. I think you can get any radio station in the world. I got a Grace Digital Mondo. http://www.gracedigitalaudio.com/mondo-p-212.html The only thing I'd change is have more pre-sets. It has 10 and then you also have a "folder" you can store 99 more in. I love it and it really opens up an new world of listening. There's even an Alex Jones station. 24 hours all Alex Jones for us conspiracy nuts.

The problem with that is it takes a wi-fi connection. It will run off of 12 volts so the power would work if you were in a RV park that had wi-fi. Like at Bowie Arizona.

Looks interesting but question-fan runs all night??? Something wrong there as what's left running to cause so much heat that requires that much disapation??John :?

I have an old computer. When it's on, the fans on. Besides, I change stations multiple times during the night. The pushbutton presets make it easy. I don't have to turn the lights on and get up.
