Another miners is in Heaven-Bob Dahlke

Postby dbeals » Sun Dec 01, 2013 9:32 am

On November 30th Bob Dahlke who manufacture Dahlke Dredges is on his way to meet God and Christ. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. The only thing that kept Bob in a peaceful state and relieved all the pain he was experience was his lovely wife singing hymns and reading the bible at his bedside along with family members and his friends. Bob-you will be missed and you will live in our hearts and memories. One of Bobs favorite books in the Bible was John. So I believe Bob would like everyone to read John 14:1-6. Your brother in Christ- David Beals

At least he'll be able to dredge up there. Hummm! Streets of gold? Sounds like a perfect place for a prospector.I wonder if all you get when you pan for leaverite, garnets and black sand is gold. Pesky stuff!

I met Bob over twenty years ago and always looked forward to seeing him at local GPAA events and other annual northwest gold shows. During lulls in the show attendance I'd walk over to his booth and we'd often discuss dredge design and recovery performance along with his unique Dahlke equipment designs. I recall Bob's big grin, his positive attitude and the obvious pride he had in his products. One thing is for certain...that is we've lost an 'American Original' with Bob's passing and he will be missed. Rest in peace, Bob.
