Too Old To Dredge?

Here in Washington State were are having a lot of rain and for last six weeks...and today some of the major rivers around here are going into flood stage. This last weekend I drove up I-90 to the Raging River about fifteen miles east of Seattle and into the foothills and I have not seen this river flow as fast and full for over a decade. Other rivers are the same up in the North Cascade Mountains. Bet this summer should be fun. Leonard and others, you are always welcome up here.

Well its going to hit 80 today in St.Louis and i want to go tryout my little 2 inch dredge today BUT ive been looking for some 2, 1 1/2, 1 1/4 clear suction hose for my nozzel and the foot valve only tobe shocked by the cost of this material.i dont want to buy the cheap, stiff(like me??:), hard to work hose,so i guess ill keep looking. theres got to be a supplier in or close to St.Louis that has or can get this good hose.ive been doing a google search looking,but most want to seel a roll and i dont need or want that! maybe ill try craigs list for some used hose.......................

almost every hose ive seen is yellow/green/black/ or red. trying to find the clear hose. nothing on Craigs list either. DARN i dont want to buy the cheap/stiff hose!

Try looking for "Clearflow" or "Tigerflex" Group W. Hose is same or similar to that used by equipment manufacturers. Local supplier here in Seattle is Pacific Hose and Rubber. They sell the T-F "W" in 1" through 8" and cut to length. Bigger hoses cost more in freight.

At Liberty Resources we sold dozens of custom sized replacement hoses for high-banker combos and dredges and found that these hoses will last a long time.

Should also add to previous post that the "Group W" hose is clear or light smoke...and very flexible.

I've bought from these guys here in Denver before. Their prices are great, i.e. 3" camlock gaskets were 25 cents each and camlock fittings were as cheap or cheaper than you can get on ebay.

Thanks Trev, but im trying to (first) find it in the St.Louis,Mo. area to save on shipping! im sure its gotta be ava. close to me! shipping is a killer!
