John its the time of the year when these wacoenviromentalists go on thier hunt for sites and people to mess with! it happens every year!

Causing a problem to distract people from the real problem is never the answer! The site works about as well as the obamacare website. The problem with the old GPAA forum was the administrator, Jeremy Jefferson, inviting Trolls, Flamers, & non-prospectors to the forum. Long-time active contributors were then BANNED from the forum for speaking out about Jeremy's lack of attention to a fast-growing problem. Others just left the forum and GPAA. I want to help, but I too have been thrown to the wolves and BANNED for speaking out about forum members who only cause problems and never contribute any value. Good Luck GPAA, you reap what you sew.

YEP! thats exactly why i left gpaa and their forum after being a member for 15 years.

When any forum is closed/changed/dies I miss the DIY info the most. Was a member since day 1 and yes I have been known to date pigs too Looked at new one and nuttn' there...change....ol'fart don't like changes...yes it was bad but still got to help quite a few folks at times so not all bad.Been over 33 years since a GPAA member and that was to assist biz partner starting a chapter,hence dumped GPAA and went free-John

I don't see what has changed? It looks like the same old forum. What am I missing? No real skin off my nose, I've pretty much sworn off "clubs" as they are more about bending over (fowards) to the waco's than standing up for our rights. And that includes our local GPOC. They think it's great to go out and find $.30 worth of gold in a trip, but don't you dare try to pay for your trip or any such thing. They freak and then out comes the green speak. F-em.

OLD FORUM BACK--wow-guess other folks raised enough kane to get it back or just a spectre of things to come??? Homepage/forum was all different but now same ol'-I'm copying DIY articles I like asap before it all disappears all over again-John

John, I think there was a post there about compressors. (somewhere)
sombody posted pics of an old (brand new in box) Browne compressor and I asked about where to get parts. Was there any answer?
I'm looking for the filter & cap on top, of how/what they used for the snorkel adapter. It's an odd size.

Jack i have a Brown compressor on my dredge and the last i remember of where to get parts was a place in Chicago Ill. ill have to look around for the addy. but i think that link was on Leonards old site. that site is still there but i dont think its supported and a lot of info is gone or not accessable. the old sites addy is: http://www.golddredger.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi

Jack i did a search on the old site but dint find the info. im NOT saying its not there but..........i also think i remeber hearing that the company that has the electric powered compressor on a inner tube (sink...something??) thats in Florida,also used these compressors. whatever you find, please share it with us. id like to have it myself.my filter was missing,but i made one to replace it useing one of those pink small micron filters w/the mount that came with the mask!to increase the air needed for more than 1 person, simply drill out the inlet hole bigger andtap it. I think Hoser said this years back??? but i did it and it worked. ALSO i posted the question over on http://www.treasurenet.com in the "dredgeing/highbanking" forums. if you dont go over there, ill post their reply! Johns also over there...
