So...here is an update as of this afternoon on recommendations I've received for preferred tool for fine gold (50 mesh+) recovery via all emails, posts and calls.

10 for Gold Cube
3 for concentrator (2 with Keene Miracle Mat)
2 for shaker (wave) table
2 for blue bowl
1 for sluicing

Got $500 to spend on what might work best (and fastest) so keep up the recommendations. We'll make the decision this Friday (March 28) I let you know what I purchase and also how much gold is in the 22 collected 5-gal buckets. Please share your ideas and opinions. Thanks, all.

The wave table will not fit in your budget unless you find a heck of a deal on a used one...or make one.
The gold cube will probably be the best combo of speed and efficiency and remain in your budget (barely)

You need to decide if you want to get most of the gold in a reasonable time or dang near all the gold and time is no issue.
If you screen and run thru the cube then save the tails. screen again, pull the magnetics then blue bowl...you will nearly all of it

If you want it all, Hoser already told the tale... you have to amalgamate. Find one of those small cement mixers with a plastic tub and I can loan ya a couple pounds of HG. I think you were somewhere near me in Olympia, werent ya?

Dave is this going tobe a 1 time deal?? if so why not ask around and see if you can use someones Gold Cube and maybe pay him a rental?? if its a one time deal why buy something? theres got tobe atleast 1 person in Washington thatll let you use theirs. Heck if you were closer to me,id say come on down(i have the Gold Cube,Miller table,Blue Bowl) and we could run it at my home and have some good ole bar-b-que and a few cold ones while doing so! either way, itll be nice to see your haul from this!

Copy that...I made mine in exactly that same fashion using a drive motor from a pellet stove.

Sure appreciate your many ideas and suggestions for my retirement project...extract as much gold as feasible (and as easy) from 22 buckets of collected concentrates brought home from dredging gold-bearing rivers in Alaska to California during the last sixteen years. Bonaro, Hoser, Russ and others...special thanks for many great suggestions and on Friday I'll let you know what I decide.

Should point out that in 35 years of dredging and other mining adventures I have used virtually all gold extraction methods for big and small operations but this time it is simply for my pleasure and to put down a few beers while enjoying some time in my shop. I've decided to purchase whatever equipment I decide to use and will keep it around for other future adventures or maybe one of you can use it.
