Hey MadJack!

'03 was a long time ago - eh! That was the year of the IGA. The rock still has "IGA" on it.

Did you know that "The Forks" burned a couple of winters ago. Total loss for the main building - ashes and fire destroyed metal. No insurance (as if it would have helped). It's just a flat spot now.

The state re-did the Petersville Rec Area bridge where you found that righteous nugget. Looks the same.

Your name is still mentioned from time to time in Trapper Creek.

No, the entire project imploded before any actual results 'happened'. To me it seemed to be too many chiefs and not enough Indians. While I was not a member of the IGA (Intrepid Gold Adventures) I was all around the group. That region is my backyard now.

I did speak with Jordan a couple of years ago. At that time he had backed out of mining (family commitments) and he wasn't planning to start up again.

I haven't noticed Jordan's name on any of the forums since - but I guess time will tell.

Jordan H is on LinkedIn, though we heven't talked he linked to my page there.

Joe, I had forgotten all about that IGA rock. It's cool to think it's still got the paint on it.
My oldest daughter Briana saw our old log cabin in Trappers Creek on 'Buying Alaska' and the wife & I thought hard about moving back there. Still might! We're "going on tour" this summer to visit friends old & new, as well as work several claims we were invited to.

Chuck Hogan told me about the roadhouse! What a shame. Is that property for sale??? lol

So . . . they're still bad-mouthing me up there huh? I must have made an impression. There were so many opportunities to go 'outlaw' up there, John G & I wanted to keep it all legal AND ethical. And that weasel Ross still owes me $50.

Damn good memories, and making more every year. So Joe, do you have a home up there or a seasonal cabin?

HMMmmm,

"So . . . they're still bad-mouthing me up there huh? I must have made an impression."

I never said anything like that ... I said "Your name is still mentioned from time to time in Trapper Creek." I never said anything derogatory!

Oh, is "Ross" the dredger from TC? Usually works other people's claims west of Petersville? Acts and thinks he's 21 but he's 30 or so. If so I guess you should just show up and I'm S u r e he'll pony up.

The woman who bought The Forks a couple (4-5 years ago) still owns it. I haven't heard anything about her selling it.
