Well its wet and very cool around here. its going tobe that way off-n-on all week it looks like! and all of the streams and rivers are up-n-running to boot! so much for trying out my dredge!

Damn Russ,

I'm almost ashamed to say we had 67* out mining this past weekend. Water a little cool yet but manageble.
I will say there was 2" - 3" snow on the ground, does that count.

NAAAA I aint that ashamed.... :lol: :lol:

Found us some color aswell. 8-)

:x No mining for this ol'fart this week as spring cleaning storm messes BUT at least we got a foot+ a rain,still 1/2 normal. With water cutbacks no garden here at my house and 1/2 normal at my buds too.Hope it's not gonna be a dry year again which sucks cause then I can't with no water :twisted: John

well if it wasnt for my knees,ankels and my back it wouldnt have been a bad day here also! i think i may go the way Leonard has gone and sell my 4 inch dredge. ill still have this little 2 inch dredge that i just made and havent tried out yet and my lawn chair! yep, i think ill be doing a lot of sitting-n-watching with Leonard this year. i kept telling my wife,"this may be my last year" and i think its getting real close!

Mind is willing....but after 3 days a hard yard cleaning/gutter cleaning/feeding it all/tree pruning storm damages and hauling it all away I sure feel every year I carry around :lol: I'll live to mine another day CAREFULLY but a couple a days a rest first--hahahaha-what a hoot-John :roll: PS-got a new lawn chair that reclines now too :lol:

John, same here also! Bob it was 76 here yesterday and the ground is finally drying out.

Dick ive already done that! what i need now is a younger person to use this thing for me while i sit on the veranda sipping a couple of cool ones while barking orders!!!
