Dan,

A job well done!!

Have you done the math to see what's the cost of running propane against the cost of when you ran regular gas, e.g. which is cheaper?

Don't forget with propane:

Cost of Gasoline for x number of hours vs Propane for same time interval (should) be less. To be determined.

Drastically different oil change intervals with propane a big time winner. :P

Also, MUCH easier to start. :o

Extended life of spark plug. 8-)

No water vapor condensation - so - no need to carry dry gas. :)

No spilled fuel during 'refueling'. :D

Enviros can't 'turn you in' for refueling in the water.

No spilled fuel in the truck bed. :|

Being able to brag to other miners -- Priceless ! ! !

Thanks for the reply, Dan, I'm with you! Less to carry, and less often, = BETTER!!

Joe makes some good points too!

I have done the math but I dont have it in front of me and I dont want to do it again cuz I am a lazy arse.

Propane locally is $2.09 and gas is about $3.20. LP has less BTU's and you will burn about 36% more fuel to do the same work. so LP comes out cheaper. However, gasoline prices are artifically low and when they rise the savings will increase

Here is all the data if someone wants to do the math...LOL
