john,

we have a couple neighbors that are pretty watchful of the area we also have relatives in the area..
we did make the offer on the new property and it was accepted.. A little worried about trespassers but with several neighbors nearby i will make acquaintance.. One is a Denver Fireman, don't know but maybe Leonard may know him..

It had a 10x12 storage shed, all 5 acres are fenced with deer fence, Outhouse with plumbed flush toilet,
septic, 17GPM well

Rex deer fence here in Misery is 8 foot tall with three strands of barbed wire on top and the deer still jump over it! But I like your location/ pictures!!!! besides your sign I saw another lettered sign that reads, "due to the economy , there will be NO WARNING SHOTS!"

Yea russ, the fence is more to keep Cattle out. that is Colorado, you can "fence Out" on what is consider open range.

We have a neighbor out there that has a sign that says "No Trespassing, we don't call the sheriff"

Dick I LIKE THAT! What is usually grazing is cow-calf pairs. Not seem many calves over about 500 lbs, i think those get shipped off to one of the feedlots up around Greeley.

Guess if i get a taste for veal or hamburger, the chainsaw, butcher knife would come in handy.

John, Thanks, the Mrs and I are about 8 yrs away from retiring, I have a notion of sitting on the front porch of a small cabin and panning my cons from the day ..

there is a lot of stuff to do between now and then.
