Lack of Water

Don't know how many others have found this to be a challenge to mining this summer. I've been limited in doing small-scale mining this summer and the major issue up in WA's Cascade Mountains has been the lack of water. Anyone else facing this problem in this or other regions??

Right now , id love for the LACK of water! our Springs have been usually real wet , BUT this year weve had record rains and flooding all Spring and Summer. Ill wait until Fall to see what else were gonna get!

The west coast is hurting for water, but most everyone else is doing fine. Sorry to hear you are in a drought area this year.

Low water records have fallen like rain here in kalif,land of stupidity. Not a favorite creek running enough to even run a lousy sluicebox right now. My best are bone dry and in 28 years here never dry...sic sic mess. The once mighty Sacramento river past the lake(puddle at record low) can be walked across without getting your ankles wet sic sic sic...John

Out here in WA decided to change mining plans and use my 2-1/2" high-banker up on a friend's mining claim since every place I've gone the water was too low to dredge. This time I brought along a setup with plans use a Hydroforce nozzle (provides it's own water at the nozzle). I was planning to work some exposed bedrock on the upper benches, using the creek water for HB processing.

Got up to the site and there was not enough water to effectively operate the equipment. Came home and rechecked the local TV weather forecast..."continued warm (hot) weather and DRY"....with no 'measureable' rain during the next ten days.

I've lived in WA for over seventy years and suffered through every one of those "wet Washington" weather jokes but I can never recall it ever being this dry. We've had a hours amount of rainfall since June 1 (and a very warm winter). Can only hope for a wetter winter in 2016.

With all this heat and prolonged drough conditions I think we will see several quakes take place this year around the western states and I wont leave out good ole Misery (Midwest) to have a shake or two also!

On sunday in NW Nevada they had a massive cluster of 5,000+++ earthquakes, we drove through Saturday luckily. Friends said like living on jelly Mother nature shaking like a dog trying to rid itself of parasites.... John

John I think itll take more than that to rid ourselves of these socalled "representatives' of ours! Either they are for helping our Country and people out of this sickness they put us in OR THEY ARENT! ,they need to put this poitical party cr*p behind them and put our Country and Her peoples welfare FIRST! this will be the only way for our Country to heal Herself!
