Hi Boys!

Postby Anne » Mon Dec 28, 2015 11:33 pm

Been awhile! I hope you're all doing ok. I just dropped in to let y'all know we lost a precious friend and fellow miner and treasure hunter, Anthony Massimilla aka Tony aka Lucky, passed away just before Christmas. For those who remember he lived in Oregon then moved to Florida. If you think of him keep his family in your prayers. They are heartbroken. Lucky was as sweet as can be and if you remember helped fundraise a wood stove insert for me when my furnace pooped out. His generosity kept my mom, son's and I warm for a couple of years until I could get a new one. I will never forget what he did for us. What a wonderful and kind hearted man.

The miners tribe on this planet is diminishing at a horrendous rate. RIP ol'sod and god's speed :( John

Hi Anne,

Sorry to hear that we lost another miner...too many now gone in 2015. Hope you and your clan are doing well.
Do you still have your 4" inch dredge? Recall when many of us got together for the Oroville, WA "Miner Rally" on the Similkameen River.

Regards, Liberty Dave

Thanks! We're all doing well! The boys are now 17 and 23! How time flies!!

Dave, I had to sell my dredge. Things got very tough for awhile there. I cried. Maybe someday I'll be able to get another. I loved my baby! Now, I'm self employed and working as much as I need or want to. Thinking of expanding my business eventually... not sure just yet.

I hope y'all are doing great and have a beautiful, gold filled 2016!!

Hi Anne! So sorry to learn you had to sell your 4" dredge.

I remember when we (Liberty Resources Co.) delivered it to you, your mom and boys. We all hoped you'd find gold with it. Someday perhaps you'll acquire another dredge. FYI..a couple of years ago I retired and sold our mining equipment business.

All the best to you.

Hey girl, hope things are all good for you.
Many who were here are sorely missed. I don't get in here enough lately myself.
Life can throw some of us curves, hopefully this forum can keep us in touch.

Take care Anne!

Old age is like a bad game of dodge ball-you weave, bob, crouch down, feint, jump outta the way but as you age there are more balls every year to dodge. Got yet ANOTHER very bad email this am from a GREAT friend in bad shape......Truth be told just left the ER a week ago with a raging case of diviticulitis as told'm" f it" I'll die at home with my boots on and NOT housed by a pack a vultures. Hit me up with more levaquin and Demerol and adios. Sure glad that wonderful warm cozy pain reliever is illegal, as to hell with drinks that stuff is gooooooooooooooooood and dangerous. Take care-John
