Gold Show This Weekend

Hi All,

Must be getting closer to spring...as the annual Washington Prospectors Mining Association's (WPMA) Gold Show is set for this weekend Feb 20-21, at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA (25 miles NE of Seattle). It is always fun to attend and see some old friends and I hope to see some of you there. Cheers.

I had a booth at the WPMA show in Monroe and had a blast. I sold out on paydirt and booked a few outings. Best part was Saturday night, hit a luck streak at poker and pull about 5 pounds in change. Looking forward to the next

Hi Dan,

Sorry we did not see each other. Did stop by MGM. I was helping Saturday AM at Black Jack's mining equipment and NAMA both but had to leave too early. Plum wore out after a couple of hours...as I'm recovering from internal surgery. Oh, to be young again.

The WPMA gold show has been an annual event in tis region for over twenty years. I've been to all of them and always had a booth there until I sold my mining equipment business in 2014. That said I still enjoy seeing my old mining friends but how the conversation has evolved during the years.

Used to be that we'd discuss mining equipment, dredging and where we had mined and always we'd share some great gold stories. Now-a-days we share stories of ailments and aches, medical treatments and procedures and complain about our physical limitations.

How I long for the old days.
