Trouble with the site!

Hi Russ:

I switched to Windows 10 because the free upgrade is until the end of July, then you have to pay for the upgrade. I was using 8.1 and I don't see much difference in 10. It has some new features and some quirks, but I didn't have many problems. I converted 2 pc's with no problems, but 1 is giving me fits trying to get the upgrade to work and I may have to take it back to factory settings and start all over with it. It was bought with factory supplied software and that may be part of the problem.

Dick were you able to save all your files and such when you switched over?

Hi Russ:

I backed up my drive first, but all the files transferred without a problem. My wife's laptop is now done and we did have to delete some files but the upgrade finely took. Now it's getting the stuff we deleted back up. There had to be something in the laptop that was preventing the down load of Windows 10. I have no idea what was the problem but we kept going back in time till we got in front of the corrupted file/s. If I had to pay someone, it would have cost a bunch in time.

Well it worked first time for me.

That one took 2 tries. Got a "connection was reset" error. Resent and it worked.

I got on the first try again today! Before I had to yell at it before it worked!

HMMM ?? not so today! I got up today at 3AM and tried to get to the site but all I got was a blank screen......... I hit refreash and tried several times but II just got on now. Plus I had my 2 cups of coffee BEFORE I tried it!
