Last year I was moving my dredge down the river looking for a spot to dredge,
I had just put down my Spud Poles and look down in the river and beside my
front pole was a short "D" handle shovel on the river bottom. This is the first
time I ever found a shovel ready spot. That beat the time that I grabbed onto
the head of a 10 lb. sledge hammer and thought I had found a gold Bar.
Well here is where I found the shovel & the wife was waiting on shore to pan
out all the gold.
