Hot nuff??

Well is it getting hot enough for you? Heat index here has been in the 100+ range for a week! Im sure glad I keep my A/C unit up-2-snuff!

Rain for the past few days-105 for days then 3 days of rain, still now, but 100++ comes Monday for 3-4 days then rain again...Very strange because as a fulltime dredger over these many years the weather was followed extremely closely as season starts in many places memorial day or 3rd sat of may. Now May was the proven record setter for the entire history of weather recordation as hottest may EVER........ John

WOW ! What a turnaround in our weather! yesterday we had a heat index of 106 and today it was fairly nice out. top temp today is supposed to be about 89 , but a nice breeze is comeing and going enough to get this F.O.G. out on the covered deck with a cold drink! Rain comeing next week for 3 days..............John you musta jinxed us!

Well for myself , its tooo darn hot to go anywhere. 4 years ago while driving to DC Wyoming I was driving in West Kansas and before I got out of KS I had blown 5 tires on my trailer. one of them only lasted 300 miles because of the heat. The asphalt shoulder of the highway was really soft because of that 114 degree heat and I just saw that's the temp in W. KS now. maybe in July itll be cooler? BUT I really doubt it! So much for a road trip!
