For some of you newbies- less then about 7 years on the site

Postby golden optimist » Wed Apr 07, 2010 4:31 pm

After a lot of years, there are a lot of stories that can be told around the campfire. You may have seen references in the past to DEF. Take a look at http://golddredgervideo.com/prospecting ... ef2001.wmv This was one of the first large gold rally's that was ever held at Myrtle Creek, Oregon. Big names of the gold circuit were there. Tom Ashworth, Scott Harn, Dave Mac, Plumas, and many more.
Some day if you get the chance to sit with the CCC around a campfire and if we have had a few Long Islands or other drink of choice, there are a lot of stories that could be told. Usually, if we are prompted a little and we've had a few drinks and the cigars are going, we are more than happy to oblige.

We'd love to tell them at Douglas Creek this 4th of July. If you can make it, we'll take care of the rest.
