Just think fifteen yrs ago most folks didn't even know what the internet was. Now a little slowness has gotten many folks upset.
What may i ask did you people do before you had access to the net.
And Leonard provides this site for free, to all the people here.
Doesn't worry me if it's slow a little sometimes, today world is all "I want it right now if I have to wait" more than 5 seconds I'll just leave.
what did you folks do before message boards and e-mail.
Slowdown live a little.

I will admit that there are times I leave because it's so slow. Here's the response from Ipower I got today and my response.

It has ran great today. Many times with response times just a second or two. Please give me a link on how I can optimize the database myself.

Thank you for your effort. I can see how the forum software should run and I can appreciate that there will be times when the mysql server will be busier but I would like to expect response times less than 10 seconds.

2 1/2 minutes for homepage-then 10 second for topic-but once I make a post gone to LL again?? Folks are NOT just bitchin for bitchin sake-look at the posts level DEAD damn near and the counter clunks along. What WAS the best site on the net is now the most clutzy pain in the anus since the change!!! I admin on another forum and we kicked these same folks in the butt and got it working right BUT these folks are a pain to deal with-problem what problem? repeatedly. Many forums have had this problem and got'm to clean up their act, and then almost problem free. I'll stick with GO through thick and thin but never forget--this is supposed to be fun-----and a way to relax-- John

I'm working on it as I also hate to come to the forum and have to wait forever to get a response. If everyone will hang in with it, I think the problem will eventually be solved. If not, I will move the site to another web host that will give a better response time.

I also run the forum for fun. When it doesn't work, it is no longer fun. Lately, it hasn't been fun. I can't access it any faster than you can.
