YAHOO sounds like heaven to me. My son Cullen was the production manager for Robinson Helicopters in Torrance for over 15 years and I NEVER even got 1 lousy ride. Couple of factory tours and it was massive facility. But my bud Larry has/had 3-4 at a time and hauled dredge gear in the biggest for quite a few miners up here. Fantastic way to hunt for gold and get gas/supply deliveries. Expensive but effective and I enjoyed the flights very much as did not miss runway takeoffs and landings.-John

Glen,
Any luck on the bubble copter yet? I know we could get back to "the place" with a little exploring. I've talked to Todd again, and zeroed in on the location. I'm thinking the first trip should be hand tools, sluice, metal detectors, FUEL, guns, ammo, chainsaw, food, camping gear, etc.... . There are a LOT of bears in the area, so a small, stout cabin is a must, once we map out the area.
I have to find a better area to get gold. Colorado is just teasing me. I spent 3 days highbanking, on a bench above Clear Creek, last weekend, and only got a gram to show for it.

I'm thinking of running a couple of Cargo containers up-River to fartherest community. Then skidding overland with a snowcat come winter. Too much stuff to fly it in. And the containers are bear-proof
