After a week of computer problems I'm repaired, thanks to the local repair shop. I tried for several days and then gave up and took it in. I was able to read the forum on a backup but no email. I had 63 emails when I got back up on line.

I paid the money and got a real computer guy to fix it.
Actually, it was beyond me. I'm the one that messed it up.

DELL screwed mine up righteously a few weeks ago. Selling their tech service,took control and raped it FROM THE DELL SIGHT. Had to have internet explorer fixed and what do you know my McAffee(which they said did nothing) quit working and my account wiped out back to 2010 for gods sake. Just that one took over 3 1/2 hours of tech time yesterday to fix. DELL will kill your computer to shove their $149 /$20 a month tech service from their own stinkn' website. Killed my sons unit 100% before xmas sob EXACT same scam....John

I took it in to a computer store. They charged $45 evaluation fee and that's all that they charged me. I'm not much for a on-line repair. I'd just as soon they have it in their hands to check it out. I was thinking about getting a new computer. This one is an antique. I was reading a book about windows 10 and I'm not sure that I like basically turning my computer over to them. I think I'll stick with my old one and XP for a while longer.

I had the windows 10 and hated it UNLESS you have one of those touch screen computers .I went back to windows 7 and glad I did until they completely stop supporting it. then Ill probley be done with computers anyway!
