8 inch pontoon dredge

Postby russau » Sat Apr 01, 2017 8:47 am

Well I've just bought a 8 inch suction dredge pontoon boat and I'm planning on a Summer vacation going up the Missouri River and do some suction dredging as I go! It already has a small freezer and refrigerator on it and its got a enclosure that I can sleep in. I plan on installing a B.W. camera and TV on it for the nozzle. And install Gold Hog mats in the sluice. then I woke up and its April........................Well a guy can dream cant he?

Well instead of a pontoon dredge I ended up getting a used (4 years old)28 foot travel trailer with all the do-dads and the payments to go with it! It looks brand new! It was checked out by a RV dealer near me! My wife will be happy and NOW travel with me. It was a spur of the monument thing Don't tell my wife but the 2 inch dredge WILL fit! :D The ole 16x7 enclosed trailer is going to go on the block as soon as the new trailer is signed ,sealed and delivered. Now I have to think of where I'm going to put at the "other stuff" I have accumulated and haul in the enclosed trailer. Its even got room enough for my pal ole Leonard !

Hey Russ,

Keene has a new 'Auric Explorer' gold dredge just waiting for you alongside their Chatsworth manufacturing facilities. Better bring a large trailer as it is 44 feet in length and has a 12" suction nozzle on 50' of hose. Operates with 2 1500 GPM pumps. Have fun.
