Well have we seen the last of Coopers Treasures??? After going nuts looking for its recording for last nights episode I see that Devils Canyon is coming on in its time slot. I wanted to see Devils Canyon and a person that has been on Utube and Tnet, "Goose", will ne one of the real prospectors , so itl l be something to watch while I'm recuperating from being a LZy butt! Heck I was really getting into it!

Sluice Goose is another one of the miners on "Devil's Canyon" - he's a 'real deal' as a small operation "Swinger d' Shovel" into highbankers, stream sluices and such.

He can be found on the Gold Hog Forum and his various utube videos are amusing and, obviously, caught someone's eye at The Discovery Channel.

Thanks for the link Joe as that show hasn't been picked up by our local channels. Bummer but sometimes they start later up here. John

John,

The first show is scheduled to air 6 June on the History Channel. It may fly - or not - it's all a crap shoot with the channel.

"Sluice Goose" is a certifiable fun loving nut and is one of the few whom I follow with his videos.

Joe

OOPS, Discovery Channel - not the History Channel.

Good for you, Russ!

Of course I should be in my cabin in Trapper Creek by then and wishing I had electricity and a TV to watch it, too.

Ah well, maybe they'll re-run it after "The Hoffman Hour" this coming winter when I'm back in Idaho.

As it looks right now it's 50-50 that I'll be on the road by the 6th. If not I'll watch it intently. Time will tell.

Thanks for the good thoughts, John.
