Same here. If you go out early or late it's ok. The problem then is you get mosquito bit and get West Nile. They've been finding mosquito's in my area with the virus. I had it 3 years ago and it was no fun.

We also have the Zika virus as well! I'm in the process of building Bat houses and Purple martin houses to resolve that problem . our town has a sketter spray program BUT they have limits to when they can spray according to the manufacture. Half the time we never see them BUT their boss is told they are out spraying all the time , when infact they are out goofing off (city employees!!!!!!)

Hey russau

I think city employees have the same work ethic worldwide. Same thing here in Canada...We call them "The Department of HOLIDAYS" (instead of HIGHWAYS).

Ironic...
Just two months ago we were astounded at the amount of RAIN California was getting
Watching on live TV, the crumbling of one of California's largest water storage reservoirs (thankfully that didn't happen)
To date, at least one Tahoe ski resort is still open for business

As is predictable, into July, California is seeing a very quick start to fire season that probably wont end until December
It looks like so far CalFire is hitting fires fast and hard
But as John mentions with all the dead and in most cases, still standing wood in the hills
One car crash is all it takes, Fire on
The higher than average temps continue on
Glaciers breaking off, sea levels rising
I will have ocean front property soon 8-)
